The Exorcist deserves respect

Indisputably the scariest movie of all time, The Exorcist made no impact on the neanderthals in the cinema I was at yesterday. The classification system in Australia is supposedly designed so that only mature enough viewers are able to watch films classified as R18+. Someone really should consider changing the system to determine audiences via IQ levels.

Certain scenes in where Reagen (the child character in the film who gets possessed) was heavily manipulated by the devil were met with howls of laughter. I checked my ticket stub, it wasn't a Farrelly Brothers movie, nor was it a teen film, it was The Exorcist.

Mobiles were going off, the cheapskates were unwrapping their foil-wrapped crisps, kids snuck in and idiots enquired. I didn't even notice that the film was 132 minutes long, must have been damn fine to pass me like that, hell the credits were the shortest I've ever sat through.

Scared? I was too distracted. Watch The Exorcist at home with a BOSS system set-up.

People have no respect.
